When erosion measures at a housing development on the banks of the North Fork River failed, huge amounts of sediment ran into the river during rain events.

Initially ignored by the developer and authorities,  TU members began making noise. Eventually, ADEQ stepped in and took appropriate action. Arkansas Trout Unlimited filed a notice to the developer of their intent to file suit in Federal Court. In 2008, TU was awarded $50,000 for North Fork river rehabilitation.
