December Meeting includes Free Food
Stan and Carolyn Parker started fly fishing Taneycomo in the mid 60's. Over the years they fished many other river and streams both east and west, but always came back to Taneycomo. A couple years after retiring, they decided to do something they dreamed of....opening their own fly shop. So, in 1999, they started River Run Outfitters fly shop and guide service in Branson, Missouri. Their mission is to provide outstanding fly fishing experiences on the river and excellent service in a fly shop.
In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the shop, Carolyn is a guide and an instructor. She attended Joan Wulff’s fly casting instructors course in Livingston Manor, New York, in May of 2000 and really enjoys teaching When she is not working the shop, guiding or teaching, she goes fishing and is usually the last one off the river as she always has to make "just one more cast!"
Her program is designed to provide information on what, where, and how to fish Taneycomo.
