CAMP REGISTRATION IS OPEN

We're taking registrations through the month of May. The mission of the Arkansas White River Chapter’s youth program is to help develop the next generation of cold water conservationists. White River Chapter 698 summer camp for 2016 is Saturday and Sunday, June 18 & 19.

This is actually a Generation Camp. Each child  (ages 10-15) is to be accompanied by an adult (parent, grandparent, relative or friend). The adult simply needs the desire to be a mentor and have an interest in conservation and trout fishing.

Camp is held at the Norfork Fish Hatchery at Norfork Dam. Students learned about Fly Tying; Fly Casting; Trout Fishing; Trout Habitat; Stream Restoration and Aquatic Entomology..

Camp hours are from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. - Noon on Sunday. The two day camp is free of charge – and fishing equipment and lunch will be provided.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS OPEN. (This link will take you to our old website.)

We are also accepting volunteers to help during both days. Contact Dawn via email and let us know you're available to help. michaeldschraeder@gmail.com
