The Chapter has undertaken the clearing and maintenance of the fishing access trail at Rim Shoals. On April 7 Chapter members and friends cleared the 3/4 mile trail using lopers, chainsaws, clippers and weed eaters. This is an ongoing project with spurs from the trail to the rivers shoals and some benches and tables in the future. The trail provides access to some of the White River's best trout fishing water.

We will continue with the trail project after autumn's frosts put the chiggers, ticks and wiggly critters in retreat mode. Come out, walk the trail and enjoy the river access and natural beauty. See you on the trail.
